To me, yoga is more than just a practice; it is transformative. By connecting the breath, fortifying the body and quieting the mind, it provides you with a resilience not found in any other form of movement. It is truly unique.
 

Invite more meaning and calm into your daily routine, while improving your strength, increasing your flexibility, and boosting your vitality. I offer classes for all levels, and include individual attention and guidance to ensure you get the most from your experience.

Teaching yoga is a genuine privilege. I want to pass on the ‘gift of yoga’ to as many people as I can. My goal is to deliver an authentic experience and inspire you along the way! I provide a nurturing, supportive environment that leaves you feeling nourished, physically and emotionally, whether you are new to yoga or someone with many years of practice.


Each class is crafted to challenge you, while ensuring that you feel rejuvenated, refreshed and soothed when you leave the mat.

Yoga can set the tone of your day and hopefully your week, month, and year, giving it a purposeful direction. It can provide the tools you need to function and thrive in a world that is often filled with too many choices, challenges, and general chaos. My aim is to enable everyone to carry the teachings beyond the studio, to promote a healthier disposition and happier outlook—an invitation to live an intentional life.

A TRANSFORMATIVE YOGA PRACTICE THAT WAKES YOU UP TO POSSIBILITIES

This 'Rise & Shine' class is one-hour long followed by a 10-minute, guided relaxation accompanied by a shoulder press & neck stretch, and an eye pillow to soothe.  Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class starts.  Bring your own yoga mat and warm fleece blanket.  I will provide any other props required.

Merrow Yoga Classes

Friday 7.30am

My Wednesday classes are one-hour long followed by a 10-minute, guided relaxation accompanied by a shoulder press & neck stretch, and an eye pillow to soothe.  Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class starts.  Bring your own yoga mat and warm fleece blanket.  I will provide any other props required.

Guildford Yoga Classes

Wednesday 8.10am & 9.45am

Rooted in the principles of Hatha yoga, we will integrate movement with breath, exploring a variety of postures that cultivate strength, flexibility, positivity, and calm.  In the small-class environment, each class begins by drawing attention to the breath to bring about a sense of presence and is introduced with a ‘theme’ to provide a focus for the practice.  We will hold poses for longer to focus on alignment that builds confidence during the movement.

I have been practicing yoga for many years but didn't realise how much I was doing 'wrong' until I came to practise with Jasma.  The small classes mean more individual attention and as a result, my practice has changed a great deal.  I am calmer, more focused and have generally less stiffness in my body.  I have acquired a mild addiction to Jasma's restorative practice; her soothing voice and beautiful sequencing always ensure I float out of the studio at the end.
